Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual uplift sluice gate enabling a gate plate to be very easily and quickly moved up and down.
SOLUTION: A long handle member 4 is held against the frame 2 of the sluice device 1a by means of a flange 23 in such a manner as to be rotatable about a vertical axis at a predetermined height and to be slidable upward beyond the predetermined height. A thread groove 28 is cut at the tip of the handle member 4 and a screw member 19 is provided on a horizontal surface 17 of an engagement member 16 installed on the gate plate 3. The thread groove 28 of the handle member 4 is in engagement with the thread groove 29 of the screw member 19. The gate plate 3 can be raised by the operation of turning and raising the handle member 4.
