To reduce the cost by using the low cost magnet made of a ferrite sintered material as an attracting magnet even though its attracting force is low.
A revolving shaft 9 is force-fitted and fixed to a protruding section 8a of a rotor yoke 8 to constitute the rotary driving section of a spindle motor. A first attracting magnet 11 made of a ferrite sintered material is stuck to the upper surface center of the yoke 8. A turntable 12 made of an iron plate is stuck so that the magnet 11 is enveloped. The turntable 12 has a disk shaped frame section 12a and a cylinder section 12b. A friction sheet 14 made of rubber is adhered to the upper surface peripheral of the section 12a. A clamper 15 made of an iron plate is arranged to the top of the table 12 and an engagement plate 16 made of an iron plate is integrated to the clamper 15. The clamper 15 also has a disk shaped frame section 15a and a cylinder section 15b. A second attracting magnet 18 made of a ferrite sintered material is adhered to the bottom surface of the section 15b.
