Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent poor acceleration from being generated by properly controlling the opening of an intake throttle valve in accelerating of an engine.
SOLUTION: An intake throttle valve 6 is provided on an intake passage 2 of a diesel engine 1, the opening of the throttle valve 6 is set on the basis of a product of the engine speed multiplied by the engine fuel injection amount by a controller (ECU) 30. In the acceleration of the engine, the set throttle valve opening is increased and corrected according to a value of the accelerator opening ACCP. Since the intake throttle valve opening is increased and corrected according to the degree of acceleration of the engine, new air is sufficiently supplied to the engine, and exhaust gas smoke and poor acceleration problems are not posed.
