To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus capable of generating a lot of nanobubbles at low cost and generating an optimal amount of nanobubbles in accordance with varying properties of exhaust gas.
This exhaust gas treatment apparatus 77 improves the quality of washing water by using nanobubbles to treat the washing water which is introduced to a nanobubble producing part 74 from an exhaust gas treatment part 76, sticking nanobubbles to suspended solids in the washing water, floating them in a fourth tank 48 (suspended solid separation tank), and separating the suspended solids from the washing water. Since the washing water with improved quality is used again for the exhaust gas treatment part 76, a performance of the exhaust gas treatment apparatus 77 is improved and the amount of washing water is saved as well. By arranging, in series, three or more water tanks 5, 11, and 20, having microbubble generators 6, 13, and 22, and introducing the exhaust gas washing water from the exhaust gas treatment part 76 to the first tank 5 to the third tank 20, sequentially, the exhaust gas washing water containing nanobubbles is effectively produced in the third tank 20.
