To provide a gas detoxification system capable of surely removing a harmful component in process object gas while reducing a discharge quantity of drain water.SOLUTION: A gas detoxification system is provided with a detoxification device having at least a cleaning chamber for cleaning process object gas by wash water, a humidification tower for discharging by humidifying carrier gas by gas-liquid contacting the carrier gas and process object water by supplying the carrier gas, a dehumidification tower for discharging by generating the dehumidified carrier gas by condensing at least a part of moisture by cooling the humidified carrier gas, a first circulation passage for circulating the process object water to the humidification tower while humidifying and a second circulation passage for circulating cooling water to the dehumidification tower while cooling. Cleaning drain water from the detoxification device is supplied to the humidification tower. Water condensed by the dehumidification tower may be used as the wash water in the detoxification device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
