Abstract:
To provide a means of informing an associated office of fault occurrence for each trunk channel.
When a device alarm is generated in the signal processor 104 of a gateway device 100, a transmission CH-AIS data generator 109 generates CH-AIS data including alarm information for each trunk channel, and a packet assembly 105 packetizes the generated CH-AIS data and transmits them to the gateway device 100 of the associated office. The gateway device 100 of the associated office analyzes the received CH-AIS data in a received CH-AIS data analyzer 110, and informs an intra-office switch of an AIS in trunk channels via an AIS trunk output part 101.
