To provide a hot water supply device of a space-saving system excellent in instantaneous water heating performance.
The hot water supply device includes: a hot water storage tank 4 in which a tapping pipe 6 is connected to an upper part thereof, and a water supply pipe 7 is connected to a lower part thereof; an intermediate tapping pipe 8 connected between a position to which the tapping pipe 6 is connected and a position to which the water supply pipe 7 is connected, in a vertical direction of the hot water storage tank 4; a water supply branch pipe 9 branched from the water supply pipe 7; and a tapping mixing valve 10 in which the tapping pipe 6 and the intermediate tapping pipe 8 are connected to an inlet side thereof; a tapping mixing pipe 11 connected to an outlet side of the tapping mixing valve 10; a water supply mixing valve 12 in which the tapping mixing pipe 11 and the water supply branch pipe 9 are connected to an inlet side thereof; a mixed water pipe 13 connected to an outlet side of the water supply mixing valve 12; a hot water supply port 3 connected to the mixed water pipe 13; and a heat-retention pipe 14 connecting a connecting part of the mixed water pipe 13 and the hot water supply port 3, with the intermediate tapping pipe 8. A heat-retention pump 15 is disposed to the heat-retention pipe 14. Since hot water is circulated by the heat-retention pump 15 even during stop of the hot water supply, the hot water at a desired temperature can be supplied just after the start of the hot water supply.
