Abstract:
Cool-water dispersible, dry mix powder hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) composition (I) includes an encrusting component which coats the HPMC. The HPMC has a particle size distribution having an upper limit of = 5% larger than 600 mu m and a lower limit of = 50% smaller than 180 mu m and a viscosity in a 2 weight % aqueous solution of 10000-20000 cP. (NB In dependent claims and the disclosure, the viscosity is up to 2000000 cP).
