Abstract:

To provide an image forming apparatus capable of avoiding excessive stagnation of toner by a damming body, and to provide a cartridge and a cleaner.

The damming body 23 is composed of two members 23A and 23B having openings and superposed one over another, one of the two members 23A and 23B being the movable member 23B which is slidable relative to the other member 23A. A drive circuit 24 drives the movable member 23B according to the density of image calculated by a control part 1A, whereby the mutual overlap of the openings of the two members is changed to appropriately discharge the toner dammed near a cleaning member 21 by the damming body 23 according to the increase/decrease of the toner.
