Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that automatically verifies validity of a status page for outputting a setting state of the apparatus, in particular, validity of the order of FAX transmission/reception records arranged by date/time, to save power.
Regarding a status page including FAX transmission/reception records created by a status page creating section of an image forming apparatus, a date/time check section verifies whether or not the FAX transmission/reception records are arranged by date/time. If the records are not arranged by date/time, an output processing section highlights a corresponding part, to verify whether or not the FAX transmission/reception records are arranged in the correct order by date/time.
