Abstract:
To provide improved coatings and coating compositions.
Improved coatings, polymeric dispersions and polymeric compositions containing crosslinked polymer nanoparticles (described as "PNP" in the following) are disclosed. Methods for producing improved coatings, polymeric dispersions and polymeric compositions are also disclosed. The disclosed PNP have at least one multi-ethylenically-unsaturated monomer as polymerized units and 1-50 nm mean diameter. The disclosed PNP also have at least one multi-ethylenically-unsaturated monomer and at least one surface-active monomer as polymerized units.
