PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a card reader does not actuate immediately and responsiveness deteriorates when a human presence sensor cannot correctly detect a user.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes: the human presence sensor for detecting a person; and the card reader for reading information recorded in a recording medium. The information processing device controls the card reader to change an interval for reading the information recorded in the recording medium in accordance with a value detected by the human presence sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
