In the insulation displacement connector, wherein an insulation displacement terminal 84 is housed in the connector housing, a base wall 8 is separated from a partition wall 7 defining a terminal housing room 4 of the connector housing 1. The partition wall 7 is separated from the base wall via a slit aperture 9 of the base wall 8. The partition wall 6 of a part 3 housing the wire connection 94 of the insulation displacement terminal in the terminal housing room 4 is separated from the base wall 8. By incorporating a first devided body 21, having the partition wall 7 with a second devided body 22 having the base wall 8, a connector housing 1' may be constituted.
