Abstract:
To reduce power in a magnetic freezer.SOLUTION: A magnetic freezer is provided with: a closed magnetic path (30) in which a permanent magnet (12), a magnetic working substance (11), and a yoke (13) are connected in series; a coil (19) that generates magnetic flux in the closed magnetic path (30); and a control unit (8) that controls energization to the coil (19). The permanent magnet (12) is a magnet whose amount of magnetization can be changed. The control unit (8) applies a magnetic field to the permanent magnet (12) by energizing the coil (19), to change the amount of magnetization.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
