Abstract:
To eliminate defect of casting, e.g. shrinkage cavity, being generated in a rotor conductor and an end ring at the time of pressure casting a squirrel- cage rotor.
An outer die 23 and an inner die 12 in a movable die 11 having air discharge grooves 22b also serving as a lamination regulator 24 for a rotor core piece 1 are tightened against an outer die 19 and an inner die 20 in a fixed die 12 having similar air discharge grooves 22c. Center line at the position of side gate is shifted from the center line of an end ring on the gate side or an arbitrary angle is set between them. Finally, a fused conductive material is fed in one circumferential direction by means of the end ring on the gate side.
