PURPOSE: To optionally adjust the quantity of grinding particles and to prevent an electrodepositing speed from dropping by sticking grinding particles to a mesh sheet in which a specified mesh is formed, pressing this to a base metal, fixing the grinding particles to the base metal by plating this metal and then eliminating the mesh sheet.
CONSTITUTION: In order to manufacture an electrodeposition grinding wheel, an electrically nonconductive mesh sheet 1 in which a mesh 1' of a size larger than grinding particles passing plating liquid parts is formed in a specified pattern is prepared beforehand. Then, first a grinding particle 2 is stuck to the adhesive coated cloth surface of the mesh sheet 1. The adhesive coated cloth surface side of the mesh sheet 1 to which the grinding particle 2 is stuck is pressed to a cylindrical base metal 3 and the grinding particle 2 is temporarily restrained on the surface of the base metal 3. A rubber band 4 may be attached to the outer peripheral surface of the mesh sheet 1. Following this, the base metal 3 on which the grinding particle 2 is restrained is placed into the plating liquid and the grinding particle 2 is fixed to the base metal 3 after being plated. Then, the mesh sheet 1 is eliminated from the base metal 3.
