PURPOSE: To display menu figure information with elimination of inconvenience to replace the menu graphic information paper on a plate for a menu display system of a tablet device, by adding a liquid crystal display panel in place of sticking the menu figure information paper to the plate.

CONSTITUTION: When a menu setting command is supplied from a keyboard 8', the designated menu figure information is extracted out of a menu figure register file within a data bank of a HOST CPU4 and sent to a liquid crystal display controller 11 by the function of a main controller 7 to be displayed on the liquid crystal panel 3'. The same information is also copied to a design film. Then the stylus pen 5 of the tablet device 1 hits an optional part of the menu figure information displayed on the panel 3', and this postion information is recognized by a talet plate 2. The position information recoguized by the tablet plate 2 is set opposite to the menu information copied to the design file. Thus it is possible for the information at the hit part to work.
