Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a throwaway tip from jump caused by centrifugal force by firmly fixing the throwaway tip.
SOLUTION: A locking hole 7a of a tip 7 is fitted with the pin 27 of a cartridge 9 to install the tip 7 on the cartridge 9. Next, the tip 7-locked cartridge 9 is arranged on an adjusting board 17. Fastening a second screw member 19 fixes the cartridge 9 on the main body of a cutter body 1. Next, a wedge 11 is arranged in such a way that the side of the tip 7 side in the peripheral direction of the wedge 11 abuts to the upper surface of the tip 7. Fastening a first screw member 23 presses the wedge 11 against the inside in the diameter direction. Thus the tip 7 is pressed and fixed by pressing with the side face of the wedge 11 against the upper surface of the tip 7.
