Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an efficient process by communicating with a fixed beam scanner scanning a bar code mark on a transmitted sheet and reading a scanned bar code.
CONSTITUTION: A high speed sheet feeder 12 has a three pieces deck supported by a frame 15. One member of such three pieces deck has an opening part 22. The fixed beam scanner 24 arranged so that beams face the opening part 22 is formed in a line with the opening part. A lead 26 connects the scanner 24 with a decoder 28 and the decoder 28 is connected to a computer 32. The computer 32 has a monitor and it communicates with a controller 38 and a supervisor computer 30. Thus, precise reading is realized by using the fixed beam scanner 24.
