To provide a method for manufacturing a cushioning material by which a uniform release effect is obtained when a soft polyurethane foam cushioning material is manufactured by supplying a foaming stock solution composition into a molding die, and a method for manufacturing a soft polyurethane foam cushioning material by which the foaming stock solution is prevented from finding its way onto the back of the molding die when the foaming stock solution composition of a polyurethane foam is supplied after the molding die is disposed at the internal bottom of a foaming molding die.
This method for manufacturing a cushioning material comprises a modeling step to prepare a matrix 3 by bringing a modeling means 1 into contact with a human body 2, a mold preparing step to prepare the molding die 8 by coating the modeling face 4 of the matrix 3 with a curing material 6, a coating step to coat the molding die 8 with a resin film 14 and a foam-molding step to obtain a cushioning material 16 by foam-molding the soft polyurethane foam with the help of the molding die 8. Thus the method for manufacturing the soft polyurethane foam cushioning material with a shape complying with the contour of the human body 2 is provided.
