The segment tip 52 is fixed suitably to the outer peripheral face of a core portion 14, by pushingly pressed to the outer peripheral face of the core portion 14 with a fixing jig even though there is a little distortion in the segment tip 52, for the sake of being fixed while keeping constant pressure in the width direction of a face to be ground. Since calcination is also performed on the molded piece mounted on a setter made of a material having the sufficiently difference of a thermal expansion coefficient in comparison with the above segment tip, the segment tip is not forced to adhere to the setter due to the difference of thermal expansion between the above molded piece and the setter even though it is a case that the calcination is performed by mounting on the setter provided with a mounting face for supporting it by abutting against an inside peripheral face or an outside peripheral face in the diametrical direction of its molded piece.
