CONSTITUTION: A traveling controller is provided with a receiver 3 for receiving a steering signal or the like from a transmitter, a steering actuator 8 of a steering mechanism for steering a steering wheel and a brake actuator 10 of a brake for braking a drive wheel. Further, the traveling controller is provided with a vehicle speed sensor 11 for detecting the vehicle speed and a controller 13 having a vehicle speed judging function for judging whether or not the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle sensor 11 exceeds the set speed when receiving a steering signal in the traveling of an unmanned vehicle, a speed controlling function to operate a brake for reducing the vehicle speed to the set speed when the vehicle speed exceeds the set speed and a steering controlling function to operate the steering mechanism to start the steering after vehicle speed is reduced to the set vehicle speed.
