To solve the problem that the clock skew due to the wiring delay comes into question for the conventional clocks generated by electric signals (on the electric wiring), accompanied with forming a more fine structure or a more high speed LSI structure, and, to avoid this, the optical system for distributing optical clock signals becomes complicated to take the packaging cost.
An optical distribution functional element composed of a fiber optical plate made by bundling optical fiber-shaped waveguides composed of cores and clads at fixed intervals and forming them into a plate is laminated on an LSI chip with a light receiving element mounted thereon, and an external light source is disposed to make incidence of light on the optical distribution functional element at a greater angle (θi>θa) than the aperture angle, thus forming a constitution of the optical distribution element laminated on the LSI using the FOP dispersion mode propagation. This attains a distributor of optical clocks in order to reduce the clock skew by a simple packaging method without changing the chip structure etc. of the LSI.
