Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupling device which is structured so as to easily realize high resolution, long focal length, modification of output characteristics, addition, modification and the like of optical parts.
SOLUTION: This optical coupling device includes a reflective photointerrupter 1 as a first structure and a second structure. In the first structure, a predetermined part of a lead frame 5 having a light-emitting element 2, a light-receiving element 3 and a functional element 4 for sensitivity adjustment mounted thereon, is molded out of light-shielding resin 6. In the second structure, a predetermined part of the lead frame having a functional element for output adjustment mounted thereon, is molded out of the light-shielding resin. When the first and second structures are integrated, the elements 2, 3 and 4 of the reflective photointerrupter 1 are connected to the elements of the first structure for providing a single function.
