The pyrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazole based azomethine compound is represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 to R4 are each H or a substituent; R5 and R6 are each an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an acyl group or a sulfonyl group; R1 and R2, R3 and R4, R5 and R6 or R4 and R6 may be bonded to each other to form a ring; A is a group of formula (2); R7 is H or a substituent; R8 is a perfluoroalkylcarbonyl group, an alkenylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, a heterocyclic sulfonyl group, a sulfamoyl group, an alkylsulfamoyl group, an arylsulfamoyl group or a heterocyclic sulfamoyl group; and * is a site to be boned to the N atom at the right side of the group represented by A in formula (1)].
