Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open a shutter closing a pick-up station simply and largely for maintenance and inspection, in a parts feeder in which tips are sent to a pickup station on the front part of a base and picked up by a transferring head.
SOLUTION: A rotatable arm 33 is extended out from a shutter 10 closing a pick-up station P on a rotor 7 on the front part of a base 1. A spring lever 35 is sprung by a spring material 38 so as to push up the arm 33 with a roller 37 on the extreme end part, and the shutter 10 is pushed onto the rotor 7. When the upper end part of the spring lever 35 is pushed by a finger tip against the spring force of the spring material 38 so as to rotate it, the roller 37 is separated from the arm 33, the shutter 10 and the arm 33 are put in a free condition, and the pick-up station P is largely opened by rotating centering around a pin.
