Abstract:
To provide a photovoltaic element which has high photoelectric conversion efficiency and is hardly reduced in photoelectric conversion efficiency even after long-term use or storage.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic element 10 includes a power generation layer 3 and a pair of electrodes 1, 2 sandwiching the power generation layer 3 therebetween. The power generation layer 3 contains at least one of an n-type semiconductor and a p-type semiconductor, an organic-inorganic compound having a perovskite structure, and a zwitterionic molecule. The power generation layer 3 has a bulk hetero structure formed by the semiconductor and the organic-inorganic compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
