Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve vibration-damping properties over a wide temp. range by mixing a PP resin with a thermoplastic polyester. CONSTITUTION:50-95wt.% PP resin having an MI of 5-50 (e.g. an ethylene- propylene random copolymer having an ethylene content of 20wt.% or lower) is mixed with 50-5wt.% thermoplastic polyester to give a PP resin compsn. having a loss factor at from room temp. to 100 deg.C of 0. 04 or higher.
