To provide a power steering device which suppresses engaging defects of a rack tooth with a pinion tooth.
The power steering device includes a first bearing provided to the opposite side of a steering input shaft, in relation to the pinion tooth to journal a pinion shaft on a housing; a second bearing provided on the steering input shaft side in relation to the pinion tooth to journal the pinion shaft on the housing and constituted of a roller bearing or a sliding bearing; and a third bearing provided on the steering input shaft side, in relation to the second bearing to journal the pinion shaft on the housing. A radial direction gap which is formed between the housing or the pinion shaft and the second bearing and on a side, in which the opposed members with each other relatively rotate and is in a smallest part in the circumferential direction is made smaller than any part in the peripheral direction of the radial direction gap which is formed between the housing or the pinion shaft and the third bearing and on the side in which the opposed members relatively rotate with each other.
