PURPOSE: To obtain a foamed material which fluctuates less in quality and has excellent mechanical strength by preparing a water dispersion dispersed with an intimate mixture contg. a hydraulic material and mixing the water dispersion and low melting point liquid, then foaming the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: The water dispersion which contains the intimate mixture contg. the hydraulic material and is set at the temp. higher than the b.p. of the low melting point liquid when mixed with the low melting point liquid is prepd. The low melting point liquid and the water dispersion are then mixed and foamed. The volume shrinkage after the hydration and curing of the hydraulic material is thereby obviated and the rigidity and mechanical strength of the foamed material are enhanced. Since the low melting point liquid and the water dispersion are respectively discretely prepd., the evaporation of the low melting point liquid is suppressed and the dispersibility of the intimate mixture in the water dispersion is enhanced. The water dispersion uniformly dispersed with the intimate mixture is thus obtd.
