Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a medicine capable of orally administered and efficiently carry an medically active ingredient to a niche in a digestive tract by holding the medically active ingredient during a staying in stomach and a time required to reach the niche in intestine after discharging from stomach and, afterwards, rapidly releasing the medically active ingredient.

CONSTITUTION: An orally administered formulation consists of (a) an inner shell containing a medically active ingredient, (b) a compression coating layer consisting of pH independent water soluble polymer formed around the inner shell and (c) a coating consisting of enteric high polymer formed around the compression coating layer.
