Title:
RING SPINNING AND YARN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3685839
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To economically obtain a high-quality spun yarn by condensing a sliver between a multi-stage drafting mechanism outlet and a twist inhibiting nip and passing a fiber strand to a ring spinning device while twisting.
CONSTITUTION: In a ring spinning, a silver 11 having ≤60 mm length is fed from a spinning can, drafted through feed rollers 37 and 37' by a pre-draft zone 23 from 1.1 to 1.3 fold. The drafted sliver is drafted in a continued main draft zone 24 in the whole draft of 60-150 fold, preferably ≥65 fold and 67-110 fold, more preferably 80-100 fold and condensed at an interval of a fixed distance 15 from a nip 14 between a suction roller 25 to form a feed roller and an opposing feed roller 26 to a twist inhibiting nip 16 to form a compact fiber strand of not more than 2.5 millimeters in width. The fiber strand after released from the nip 16 is fed to a ring spinning frame 17 while being twisted to give the objective spun yarn having ≤100 twist factor, hairiness H smaller than Uster 25% curve and both smaller irregularity CV and nep than Uster 25% curve.
