Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation device for inexpensively simulating the operation of a system constituted of a plurality of work machines such as robots.
SOLUTION: Elapsed time information since the start of the execution of a command program and the position information at that time are received from the controller of the work machine or an arithmetic means for executing an arithmetic operation which is equivalent to that of the controller, and for obtaining the position information from the command program, and stored as history data (A1-A5). Then, the history data based on the execution of the command programs for all the work machines constituting this system are obtained (A6, A7). The position information of each work machine is integrated so as to correspond to the elapsed time based on all the history data (A8). The three-dimensional models of all the work machines constituting this system are displayed on one screen with moving images so that simulation can be executed. Thus, it is necessary to obtain the history data of the operations of the work machines constituting the system only for at least one work machine, and it is possible to obtain the inexpensive simulation device.
