PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sponge puff for makeup in which a soft touch is obtained and stickiness and roughness is reduced by forming a siliconefilm by applying methyl hydrogen silicone oil or the like or its emulsion on the surface of a sponge as a base material, or by permeating it into the sponge.
SOLUTION: In a sponge puff 1a, either methyl hydrogen silicone oil, silicone oil in which amino modified functional group, epoxy modified functional group, or the like is introduced, or reactive silicone oil which is hardened by catalyst or an emulsion of one of the silicone oil is either applied on the surface of a sponge 2 as a base material or penetrated into the sponge 2, thereby forming a silicone film 4. For example, the sponge 2 is dripped in amino modified silicone oil emulsion which is adjusted by adding 100 weight percent of water to 1 weight percent of the amino modified silicone oil, and the liquid is penetrated. The sponge 2 is dried at a temperature of 100°C, and further fixed at a temperature of 150°C, thereby forming the silicone film 4.
