Abstract:
To provide a time digital conversion circuit, a circuit device, etc., with which it is possible to realize high-performance time digital conversion by a simple circuit configuration.SOLUTION: A time digital conversion circuit 20 includes: first and second oscillation circuits 21, 22 for initiating oscillation operation in accordance with first and second signals STA, STP and outputting first and second clock signals CR1, CR2; first and second sampling circuits SP1, SP2 for sampling the first and second clock signals CR1, CR2 with a first reference clock signal RCK1 and outputting first and second output signals SQ1, SQ2; and a processing circuit 40 for finding the first frequency information and first phase information of the first clock signal CR1 and the second frequency information and second phase information of the second clock signal CR2 on the basis of the first and second output signals SQ1, SQ2 of the first and second sampling circuits SP1, SP2, and finding a digital value that corresponds to a time difference in the transition timing of the first and second signals STA, STP.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
