PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of quickly reducing concentration of impurity elements in a ruthenium-containing article with a relatively simple process and a means capable of recovering ruthenium quickly.SOLUTION: There are provided a processing method on a ruthenium-containing article having an acid leach process for conducting acid leach on a ruthenium-containing article by using a solution containing hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide, and a recovery method of ruthenium having a recovering process for recovering ruthenium from a ruthenium precipitation after the processing method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
