Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger diagnostic device capable of suitably diagnosing whether a turbine structural component should be replaced or not.SOLUTION: A diagnostic device acquires a turbine expansion ratio PIT (S100), and adds [1] to a value of a counter COUNT (S102) each time the acquired turbine expansion ratio PIT exceeds an overload threshold value α (S101:YES). When the value of the counter COUNT becomes a replacement timing determination value β or greater (S104:YES), the diagnostic device determines that a turbine wheel should be replaced, and lights on a warming lamp (S105).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
