Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof excellent in ventilating property, simple in structure, and easy to manufacture and install, mainly for a general house.
SOLUTION: For a general house roof, a ventilating roof is such that a slanted roof forms a ridge. An air duct 17 through which indoor warm air is exhausted is formed vertically through the ridge, and a ventilating coping part 10 provided with an inlet and a ventilating window is placed thereon, and an outside air intake window 35 with its upper end facing the air duct 17 and its lower end provided on a palmette at the eaves is placed below the slanted roof to form an air passage 23 through which outside air can circulate.
