Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with lock mechanism which is improved in operability.SOLUTION: A connector 100 comprises a lock mechanism 11 by which a receptacle 10 and a plug 20 are freely engaged with and disengaged from each other. The receptacle 10 includes a first housing 1 and a first contact 3. The plug 20 includes a second housing 2 and a second contact 4. The first housing 1 includes a lock arm 12 with which a hook 12h is provided in a distal end, in a recess 110. The second housing 2 includes an engage projection 2b in a header 2h. When the header 2h is inserted into the recess 110, the engage projection 2b gets over the hook 12h, such that complete fitting of the receptacle 10 and the plug 20 can be realized. When the header 2h is pulled out of the recess 110, the hook 12h is displaced, such that the plug 20 can be easily pulled out of the receptacle 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
