Title:
The cooling system of an in-vehicle battery pack
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6252529
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle battery pack cooling system that can estimate filter clogging of plural cooling devices by one filter jamming amount detection means, thereby reducing the cost.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle battery pack cooling system includes a first cooling device 12 having a first battery pack 11, a first filter 14, and an intake air temperature sensor 16, and a second cooling device 22 having a second battery pack 21 and a second filter 24. In the first cooling device 12, the cooling capacity is calculated by using the detection temperature of the first intake temperature sensor 16 and the first battery pack temperature, the clogging amount of the first filter 14 is calculated based on the characteristic that the cooling performance degrades in accordance with the clogging amount of the first filter 14, and when the frequency of use of a CD mode with respect to a CS mode is a predetermined value or more, the clogging amount of the first filter 14 calculated by the first filter clogging amount calculating means 32 is multiplied by a predetermined coefficient which is set based on the difference in battery capacity between the first battery pack 11 and the second battery pack 21 to estimate the clogging amount of the second filter 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
