Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction material composition less likely to generate low temperature friction and less likely to reduce effectiveness of a brake even when braking is conducted at a state that water exists between a friction material of a disc brake pad and a disk rotor.SOLUTION: There is provided a friction composition containing a binder, an organic filler, an inorganic filler and a fiber substrate and containing ferroalloy particles of 0.1 to 3 mass%. A size of the ferroalloy particles is preferably 0.1 to 100 μm by average particle diameter.SELECTED DRAWING: None
