Abstract:
This additive manufacturing device additively manufactures a molding by supplying a powder material to a molding surface of the molding and irradiating the supplied powder material with a melting beam that melts the powder material. The additive manufacturing device comprises a recoater that smooths the powder material on the molding surface while moving in a first direction along the molding surface, an irradiation target that is provided in the recoater and converts an electron beam for irradiating X-rays for inspection onto the molding surface into X-rays, an electron beam source that irradiates the electron beam onto the irradiation target, and a detector that is provided in the recoater and detects X-rays that have been converted by the irradiation target, irradiated, and scattered by the molding surface.
