Abstract:
A cellulase preparation characterized by containing a transconjugant-origin endoglucanase together with a nonionic surfactant; detergent compositions obtained by blending the above cellulase preparation with detergent components; a method of treating a fiber characterized by treating a cellulose-containing fiber with the above cellulase preparation to thereby improve the properties of the fiber; a method of deinking waste paper characterized by involving the step of treating the waste paper with the above cellulase preparation together with a deinking agent; and a method of improving the freeness of paper pulp characterized by involving the step of treating the paper pulp with the above cellulase preparation.
