Abstract:
The present invention relates to a complete drainage gabion-reinforced soil retaining wall and a construction method thereof, the complete drainage gabion-reinforced soil retaining wall enabling complete drainage by means of forming a front member of the reinforced soil retaining wall by vertically stacking gabion units, and preventing horizontal displacement and breaking of the front member due to the horizontal earth pressure and enabling easy and economical construction by setting one end of a reinforcement in a fixing member between upper and lower gabion units. The complete drainage gabion-reinforced soil retaining wall of the present invention comprises: the front member formed by stacking a plurality of gabion units, having gabion rocks filled inside a metal gabion, so as to come in close contact with one another; backfill soil provided on the back side of the front member; a fixing member which is cast-in-place concrete and covers and integrates the metal gabion of the upper and lower gabion units and the reinforcement on the rear side between the stacked gabion units; and the reinforcement of which one end is set inside the fixing member and the other end is embedded inside the backfill soil.
