Abstract:
A device (10) for manufacturing an absorbent body (1), said device (10) comprising a forming part (30) for depositing liquid-absorbent fibers (6) and a super absorbent polymer (SAP) in a recess (71) to form the absorbent body (1) and a supplying part (20) for supplying the liquid-absorbent fibers (6) and the super absorbent polymer (SAP) to the recess (71), wherein: the recess (71) is provided with protrusions (80) projecting from the bottom surface and having an inclined surface (82); and, in a cross section perpendicular to the ridgeline of the protrusions (80), the angle of the inclined surface (82) against a plane parallel to the bottom is larger than the angle of repose of the super absorbent polymer (SAP) and smaller than 90°.
