Abstract:
A driving method and a driver device for a display panel. The method comprises: detecting whether a current data frame satisfies a predetermined switch criterion for switching from a first polarity mode to a second polarity mode (S101); if the current data frame satisfies the predetermined switch criterion, acquiring a polarity input signal corresponding to a preceding data frame (S102); acquiring, on the basis of the polarity input signal and of the positions of subpixels in the current frame, data compensation values corresponding to the subpixels (S103); in the second polarity mode, overlaying values of the subpixels of the current data frame with the corresponding data compensation values and then outputting to a display panel (S104). By such means, the problem of instantaneous flickering when switching from the first polarity mode to the second polarity mode is prevented.
