Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a magnesium oxide powder which contains specific magnesium oxide particles, can suppress an increase in viscosity when filled into a resin, and can achieve an increase in thermal conductivity of a resin composition that contains the resin; and a filler composition, a resin composition and a heat-dissipating member that contain the magnesium oxide powder. This magnesium oxide powder contains magnesium oxide particles and is such that the number of open pores that are connected to the surface of the magnesium oxide particles is 8.0×10-4 pores/μm2 or less, as measured using a specific measurement method.
