Abstract:
The invention relates to a metal or ceramic powder electric press, comprising a press drive (2), which is designed to drive a punch arrangement for pressing a powder and/or granulate into a die (12) to form a pressed part (K), a control device (C) for controlling the press drive (2) and the pressing process, and a current supply connection (4), which provides a supply current (Il), wherein an intermediate circuit (5) having an energy storage device (30) for supplying the press drive (2) with a drive current (Ia) is connected between the current supply connection (4) and the press drive (2).
