Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a photocatalytic filter having a porous nanofiber heterostructure, the method comprising the following steps: step one: manufacturing a photocatalytic heterostructure composed of a plasmonic metal nanostructure and a semiconductor nanostructure, wherein the plasmonic metal nanostructure adjustably absorbs light in the visible to infrared spectrum; step two: preparing an electrospinning solution; and step three: manufacturing a large-area, multilayer, porous nanofiber filter structure. By means of the scatter-enhancing effect of metal nanoparticles in the porous fiber, sunlight is repeatedly transmitted in the fiber, and finally interacts with a composite photocatalyst on the surface. In this way, improved photocatalytic efficiency is achieved.
