Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a method for preparing an antibody in which the content of sugar chains having core fucose is increased, from an antibody in which sugar chains having core fucose and sugar chains not having core fucose are mixed, the method characterized by performing at least the following steps (1) and (2): (1) a step of treating the antibody with endoglycosidase (1) so as to hydrolyze sugar chains bound to "N-acetylglucosamine to which fucose is not bound"; and (2) a step of removing the "antibodies in which the sugar chain bound to the N-acetylglucosamine to which fucose is not bound was hydrolyzed" obtained in step (1).
